5 More Weeks
We had our exciting 35 week Doctor appointment last Thursday. This was my first visit to be checked internally. It wasn't bad at all. It was just like a yearly girly visit, short and sweet, which makes it much easier for us women. So far, I am not dialated, but my cervix is "really soft" as she put it. So, she told me to start getting prepared, and she reminded me about when she wanted me at the hospital as far as contractions go. So in another 2 weeks, we'll see just where we stand. Are we getting closer, or are we going to sit still for the next 4 weeks.
We also had out Childbirth Class this night. I can't believe that I was able to get Chris to sit with me through this 2 hour class. It didn't start until 7:00 that night, so needless to say, when we got home about 10:00, we were out! But it was really interesting. For some reason now that I have done it, I feel 10 times better about having Noah. I think because I had NO IDEA what to expect when I get there, about the epidural and pain medications (although Chris told me he thought that I should take it like a real women and not get it-he's lost his mind) and the after effects. Although the videos are not up to date and they can be GROSS, I enjoyed watching them. Especially the one about the epidural....I had no idea how they gave it. Woo Hoo, I'm gonna be feelign good! So if something does happen and I go into labor, I know we will be ok, plus the outcome will definately be worth it!

Wow! Time is getting SO close now. You've had some amazing showers! I agree with you, though, after going to child birth classes, I felt more at ease, too. Everything will go great for you..I just know it! It all becomes a whirlwind in the midst of it anyway. I can't wait to see pictures of Noah on the blog! I'll update your header when that happens :-) By the way, I have a friend having a Noah Christopher who is due in September. Crazy, huh?
