There's Only One!! It's Official!

Chris and I had our first Doctor's visit yesterday at 3:00. We finally got in about 4:30ish. I was getting so nervous because my belly was growling. When it growls it means business. We finally got back and I had to do a series of tests, but not bad. They put us in a room to wait for the doctor, and I had to get dressed for my "girly" test. Chris was so nervous, when the doctor came in he kind of hid out in the corner closest to the door. I guess he was gonna be ready to make a run for it if he needed to. Then she directed him to get closer for the ultra sound. She looked first and then showed us our little peanut! We are only 6 weeks and 5 days today. I just knew I was 9-10 weeks and almost through with the morning sickness. But that's ok. It was so neat seeing it. As of right now, we have a due date of July 20, 2008. How exciting. The little peanut between the plus signs will be BABY THOMAS!

We're gonna be "Mommy & Daddy"!

We found out November 12 that we are going to be parents. We are extremely excited. We decided to wait until Thanksgiving to tell everyone. We thought that would make for an exciting memory! Chris' parents were celebrating their anniversary on Thanksgivingl, so we decided to use a card for them. We wrote "Happy Anniversary and Congratulations, Love Chris, Jana, and Baby Thomas". At first Glenda didn't see it, and as Ronnie read over her shoulder, she read it again and noticed the suprise. The look on her face was unforgetable. They decided to let everyone read the card as they came in to see if they noticed the suprise also. Most of the family had to read the card twice! It was so much fun!

Afterwards, it was time to tell my family! I didn't get to see momma and Jackie, but they were so excited. This year Tink had her family over for Thanksgiving so we decided to try getting together for a picture. Chris took the picture, and he said "Everyone say Jana's pregnant!" Not everyone heard at first, but it quickly spread. Everyone was really excited. They didn't believe me at first. There were great reactions......all day!

It's That Time Again!

This weekend, Chris decided that he was ready to put up our christmas lights. So after we made 2 trips to town because of the wrong lights that we kept picking up, we finally started. Chris climbed on the roof and did the hooks and lights, while I got to untangle all of the lights and throw them up to him. I almost think that he got the better end of the deal. So here are a few of the end results.

Introducing....Miss Kitty Blue

I went to visit my mom this weekend for her bithday, and I ended up coming home with a present. Miss Kitty Blue is half persian and half long-haired kitty. She is my best friend. She's only 5 weeks old, but she already uses her potty and eats like a big kitty. She is extremely good. All I have to do is put her next to her little house and she goes right in. When it's bed time, she comes and snuggles with me or Chris until she's put into her house.

Halloween 2007

Every year Chris and I love to go trick-or-treating with our neices and nephew. We all go the Fall Festival at the church for a few games and then we all pile up on the mule head out for some halloween suprises. We love to see all the houses decorated and ready for the kids. And it's even more fun to watch the kids tell the people "I want more"! Everytime we stopped at a house Mickey and Minnie would try to put as much of it in their mouth as they could. We had to start dumping the candy out (into a paper bag) everytime that we stopped. They had a lot a fun, and that's all that matters!
