It's a.....

Jay Jay and Uncle Lace found out yesterday that they are having a little princess. Oh how exciting! I can't wait to buy her something pink. And you can tell from the pictures that Noah's excited. He said that they were going to play and play at Mrs. Dorothy's. Noah also turned 3 months yesterday! I can't believe how big he is. I went back the other day looking at my preggo pics and his baby pics. It's so hard to believe it's already been this long! Where does the time go?
Yesterday Gran and Jack Jack came up to see all of us and bring goodies. When we stopped by Jay Jay's house to all meet up, Kristen and Kyla were there. This is Kyla and Noah's first time to meet. It was such a shock when I braced myself to hold this cute little 6 month old and she was a LOT lighter than my chunk!

So while they were sitting there together, Kyla decided to smack Noah! It was pretty funny. You should've seen the look he gave her! She's got the age on him, but he's got the rolls! We'll all have to get together again when they can chill and play! This is the bib that Jack Jack got him!And these are the blankets that Gran and Jack made for him. The little blue bear blanket is from Gigi! He loves all of them!

And look at those lips. Oh I have a funny story! This past weekend, I was holding Noah and Chris was playing and acting like he was going to get him. When he got close I kind of jumped or jerked or something and he looked at Chris, said "UUUHHH", and poked that lip out as far as it would go! It was hilarious. I wish I would've gotten a picture of that! For the rest of the day, he wouldn't look at Chris the same. Chris felt so bad!

And for my co-workers, this precious little face is why I am late every now and then. I just can't get enough! He's just so happy in the mornings. He knows how to make my day I guess.

And now for our Pumpkin Patch pictures

And I added a video of Noah laughing. He's tickelish like his mommy!

~All in one night~

Last night was quite eventful for little Noah.
1. He loves to take a bath. His little tub has a net that make him sit up a little higher until he's a little older. Well last night after we were all sparkly clean, I unhooked the two bottom hooks to let his booty and legs be in the water. Oh my goodness! He went to town! Those legs didn't stop moving the whole time. He was loving it. He almost had mommy soaked. I can't wait to get him in the pool next summer. He'll have to teach his baby cousin how to swim in the tub!
2. I'm laughing just thinking about it.....I found an old costume in his closet that I had gotten a long time ago from his cousins. It's actually a little girls pumpkin costume. I guess it's for a little girl...it's got tulle, and it's poofy! I'll let you decided......
Yeah it's a lot girly! Oh, and I was laughing so hard trying to get it on him! Chris said..."Take that off NOW!" And of course, just as soon as I get it on and get some pics....Pops called and got on to me..."Don't be cross-dressing that baby...take it off!" But it was fun while it lasted and he's such a great sport...he lets me dress him up all the time (in boy clothes of course)!
3. Now we're off to another halloween outfit. This one is really a nighty, but we're wearing it to Dorothys today! It's black with paw prints and the word BOO that glows in the dark...but the best part is that it has a tail....
4. Mommy and Daddy's Favorite......He slept ALL night! He had a bottle at 7:00, played a while and then finally hit went to nappy's house about 8:30. Chris woke me up at 4:30 saying that he was up. (now you know I was tired if Chris had to wake me up, it's normally the other way around) WOW! He never woke up for a paci or anything..and when he was awake, he wasn't "crying", he was just talking. That's my boy! Finally!! Now lets see if we can do it all weekend. Hopefully we can test out sleeping in his big boy bed this weekend. We'll let you know how that goes. When he finished his bottle around 5:00 this morning, I put him back to bed and then I had to wake his sleepy tail up at 7:23, just to get us to Dorothys and work on time.
I'm loving my new little family!

Is It Monday Again? Ugh!

I thought I'd start off this wonderful Monday with Noah's second halloween outfit. I think this suit was his cousins and the hat actually goes with another suit, but I thought it matched great. As you can see in the pic, his nails need to be cut. And when I was getting him dressed, his toenail cut me.

We had a really good weekend. Mommy and Daddy did lots of cleaning and clothes on Saturday. Don't it stink when you have to spend your Saturday cleaning. If we were smart, we would work hard at keeping our house spotless during the week and then we wouldn't have to clean all weekend. Ok...so ask me next Monday how that went! :) So while we cleaned we stopped a few times to play with Noah. Daddy tried him on his shoulders and this is what he got....

or should I say, what he's missing. We'll have to get daddy a little Rogaine after that grip! Here's Noah chilling and watching me fold clothes. And the picture after that is him asleep in his swing....head cocked back, eyes half open, and mouth open.....just the way mommy use to sleep.
It was poker night again, and I got daddy to help me bath and get Noah ready. When Chris left, I laid him on his play mat on his back and he went to down with those arms and legs. And talking...boy does he talk now. It's so sweet too! Whe Gigi and Pops came by, he carried on a long conversation with them.
And check out those "Angelina Jolie" lips, they're huge!
And we also had a wonderful Sunday. We decided to go to the park and take some pics. Gigi and Pops also came by to visit us. Then mommy and daddy decided to play a quick game of poker with dinner, and I whooped up on him! (Sorry Chris, I told you we should've taken a picture)! It was fun.
And I can't figure out why Chris is giving me this look all the time!!
I decided to add one pic of Jay Jay and her belly! They find out next Tuesday what they're having! I can't wait!

Have a great week!

Have A Great Weekend!

We are so very thankful that it's FRIDAY! I feel like we only get to play with the little man on the weekends because during the week we only have time to eat and sleep. But I look forward to waking up in the mornings to his sweet little smile. When I go to get him out, he just grins from ear to ear. He looks like a sweet old man without teeth. I can't wait. Look at this sweet little picture....Chris and I are in love!
We want to thank Mrs. Davis for Noahs goodies. He loves his little seahorse. It plays music for 5 minutes and also lights up. Which is great to help get him to sleep (and mommy too). It reminds me of the old glow worm but better. And I do believe that mommy and daddy enjoyed watching his movie (Backyardigans by the way) a lot more than he did. But I know he will love it. Thank you so much.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Roll Over Roll Over

Good Morning!
If you read my blog from yesterday, then you know that I was bragging about this "schedule" that we'd been working on and it was actually going pretty well. I SPOKE TO SOON!! When I picked him up from Dorthy's yesterday, she said that he hadn't finished his last(4th) bottle. Until we got on this schedule, he was only eating 3 bottles, and now we're doing 4. So we left there and went and visited with Mamaw and Papaw for a little bit. At first he was happy as could be and laughing and talking. Then he got restless and mad. He was tired and was ready for his swing so he could nap. When I got home (about 6:45) he was already passed out. So I stuck him in his swing thinking that he would take a quick cat nap and be ready to eat about 7:45. WRONG!! He didn't get up to eat until 11:15 which was about the same time that daddy got home from poker. Yay for mommy! Even though I had already fallen aleep on the couch just waiting for my little man to get up and play with me, I couldn't get in my nice big bed quick enough. I got the bottle ready for Chris while he changed his diaper and put on his night clothes, and then I was gone! And for some crazy reason, I got up for the 2:30 feeding. Normally Chris will get those and I will get the 4:30 or 5:00 feedings since I need to be up anyway. When I put im back to bed, I laid him on his side. He sleeps on his side everynight and then he will slightly roll onto his back. And he's been getting extremely busy in that little bed at night. He's been turned the other direction, no covers/socks, and pushing the sleep positioner to the end of the bed. When we woke up this morning, Chris checked on him and asked me if I put him on his belly. YAY! My little TOOT rolled onto his belly to sleep and actually slept pretty good. I don't think I heard a peep from him until he was waking up and ready to eat...which by the way was about 7:00. So you can see how off we were. I was able to keep him occupied and OK until I could get him to Dorothys and let her feed him and maybe we could get back on that schedule. Oh, and I asked Dorothy yesterday if he'd been fussy for her, that the night before, because for me he was whiney and wanted to be held. This was her response..."No, but Jana most of the time I have him on my hip carrying him around and getting all my other stuff done." So nope, he hasn't been fussy for her....she's been spoiling him!
Thanks Dorothy!!

~ON ANOTHER NOTE~

Our "schedule" that we are trying to be getting on has worked out quite well lately. Mrs. Dorothy has been excited because this way she is able to feed him and then take care of the big kids without carrying him around with a bottle in his mouth and passing out lunch to all the others. I have no idea how she did that. I have to be sitting and propped to feed that little chunk. And if you have ever fed him before, you know that he likes to stiffen up like a board when he's eating. I guess with all that experience, she could handle anything. She's my hero right now! She's always got kids everywhere, and when I say everywhere, they're not running around being bad. They are just everywhere in the room. There are normally 2 in highchairs getting ready for breakfast, one or two at the kids table waiting, one in a swing, and one in a bouncer seat thingy, and normally one just hanging out. Then in comes my TOOT! And that's another story. At least mine is confined right now. And this morning when we got to Dorothys, she had a brace on her knee and was limping. Not only does she watch about 8 kids a day, she also teaches aerobics two or three days a week. See why she's my hero!! But she said that she would be fine, she's tough!

A few weeks ago, we purchased the baby first channel on Dish. I love it. One of the shows has 3 mice that sing and dance. At first I couldn't stand it, but I've come to realize that they are talking and acting in a way that the littles ones can learn to comprehend it. And so now it's ok, and that's where I got the name TOOT from. That's one of their names. And there's another show called Foodie Fables and everything is made out of fruit and vegetables. So the little bird is made of radishes, and the feathers are the radishes stems. And the elephant, which is my favorite, is called StumpyTrunk and he's made of apple and pears. And the sea lion is made of a banana. And there's another show called the Notekins. They are adorable. They teach sound/music, but they have the greatest morning song!

"The sun is shining, good morning, good morning. And we're all smiling, good morning, good morning. We're A-Ok, Hooray, Hooray....Have a nice day!"

Well it's something like that, but we love it!

So this morning we decided to start breaking out all the Halloween clothes. Before I knew it, he had more than a weeks worth of Halloween outfits, so I've decided that we will go ahead and start wearing them. So we started off with this....

I Love My Mummy!

Look at all those different faces...there's a "yeah I know I'm cute", and "Would you please just hurry up and get me to Dorothys", and "I bet I could get this bib off and eat it", and "What?, we're gonna stay home and play all day?" I wish I could. Have a great day!!

River Oaks Homecoming

We've had a busy weekend. We went to Gigi and Pops Friday night to watch Boo Boo cheer at her homecoming game. This was our first time to watch her cheer at her new school. At first all the noise (band, firecrackers and wild fans) made him a little upset. And just when I thought he was doing good and going to be ok for the game, he became quite upset. And as soon as we put the car in reverse, he was happy as can be, not to mention half asleep. And then we stayed the night and took pictures of her and Tyler (her homecoming date and best friend). She looked so pretty and grown up! They were the cutest couple. And Noah got pics with his Boo Boo and pops! He did really good. I'd just fed him, and he's the happiest in the mornings and right after he eats. We got such a kick out him this weekend. He would stop what he was doing to watch the TV. I've never seen him do this. He's just now starting to get into watching it. It's a good babysitter in the mornings. I think he's been losing hair. I keep seeing baby peach fuzz all over everything. And you can almost see a light baby hair trying to come back. How exciting! He was glad to get back to Mrs. Dorothys this morning. As soon as we got there, he spit out that paci and went to grinning at her. That makes it so much easier on mommy.
